Sterling & Wilson Appoints Ajit Pratap Singh As CFO
Singh, who replaces interim CFO Sandeep Mathew, will assume the role on 24 March
(The Corner Office Journal) -- Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd. appointed Ajit Pratap Singh as chief financial officer, effective 24 March, replacing interim CFO Sandeep Mathew.
Mathew will cease to be the interim CFO from the close of business hours on 23 March, the Indian solar EPC solutions provider said in a stock exchange announcement. He, however, will continue with his head of investor relations role, it added.
Mathew, who has been associated with the company since 2022, was appointed to the position of interim CFO on 16 January.
About New CFO
Sterling & Wilson said Singh has previously worked with Transrail Lighting Ltd., OPG Power Generation Private Ltd., Threads India Ltd. and Ghazanpar Group.
In addition, he has worked with Madhya Pradesh Jaypee Minerals Ltd., Vedanta Aluminium Ltd., JSW Bengal Steel Ltd. and South African Coal Mine Holdings, it added.
Singh is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy, according to the statement. He is also a Certified management accountant from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, it said.
