Vedanta Plans To Raise $343 Mln Via Debentures
The board approves the issuance of up to 300,000 non-convertible debentures with a face value of 100,000 each
(The Corner Office Journal) -- Indian conglomerate Vedanta Ltd. plans to raise as much as 3,000 crore rupees ($343 million) via the issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs).
The company’s board today (11 February) approved the issuance of up to 300,000 unsecured, rated, listed, redeemable, NCDs with a face value of 100,000 each on a private placement basis, Vedanta said in a stock exchange announcement.
The diversified natural resources conglomerate said the NCDs are proposed to be listed on BSE.
