Suzlon Energy Group CFO Himanshu Mody Resigns
Mody, who joined Suzlon four years ago, resigned to take up another assignment
(The Corner Office Journal) -- Suzlon Energy Ltd. said its Group Chief Financial Officer Himanshu Mody resigned and the company is in the process of appointing his successor.
Mody’s resignation is effective from the close of business hours on 31 August 2025, the Indian renewable energy solutions provider said in a stock exchange announcement.
In his resignation letter, Mody said when he joined Suzlon four years ago, it was struggling with financial and operating creditors knocking at its doorsteps and journey of turning around the company has been fulfilling, both personally and professionally.
Today, with its highest-ever order book, robust working capital, enhanced manufacturing capacity, and strengthened management bandwidth, Suzlon is well-positioned to deliver sustained quarter-on-quarter growth, he added.
“With this, it's time now for me to take these learnings and progressively move on in my professional journey to take up another challenging assignment,” Mody said.
Suzlon, which announced its 1QFY26 results, also said it is in advanced stage of appointing a new CFO.
In addition, the company said its board approved the appointment of Vinod Tanti as chairman and managing director, and Girish Tanti as executive director for another five years.
The appointments will be effective from 7 October 2025 to 6 October 2030, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the annual general meeting on 25 September, according to the statement.
