(The Corner Office Journal) -- The cases related to the corporate disputes at India’s National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) won’t be heard today (22 November).

The Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) and National E-Governance Services Ltd. (NeSL) are holding the National Level Colloquium from 22 November to 24 November in Kolkata that will be attended by the NCLT president along with the tribunal members, the NCLT said in a recent order.

“In view of the colloquium, it is directed that all matters listed for 22 November 2024 to be re-notified by all benches of NCLT,” according to the order.

All the tribunal benches will resume normal functioning from Monday (25 November).

There are 16 NCLT benches across India, including the principal bench in New Delhi.

The NCLT is a quasi-judicial authority incorporated for dealing with corporate disputes that are civil arising under the Companies Act.
