(The Corner Office Journal) -- The cases related to the corporate disputes at India’s National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) won’t be heard today (10 April) as all the benches are closed on account of Mahavir Jayanti.

All the tribunal benches will also remain closed until Tuesday (15 April) due to restricted holidays, according to the NCLT’s 2025 calendar posted on its website.

Most of the benches will resume normal functioning on Wednesday (16 April), except Amaravati, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Mumbai. These benches will start normal hearings on Monday (21 April), the calendar showed.

There are 16 NCLT benches across India, including the principal bench in New Delhi.

The NCLT is a quasi-judicial authority incorporated to deal with civil corporate disputes arising under the Companies Act.
