India Insolvency Regulator Seeks To Appoint Consultant To Assist In Work

Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India also seeks to engage four research associates for one year

(The Corner Office Journal) -- The Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) is seeking to appoint a research associate/consultant on a contract basis to assist the regulator in discharging its functions.


“Research associate/consultant is initially required for a period of one year, which can be further extended by one year as per requirements of the board and subject to satisfactory performance,” the IBBI said in a notice.


The insolvency regulator said the appointment, which will be under Level II or III and in the business management discipline, is for one position.


The last date to submit application is 13 November, it added.


The applicant must be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). For Level II, the candidate must have an experience of between three and five years in the relevant discipline. For Level III, the experience requirement is between five years and 10 years.


The IBBI is offering a consolidated monthly remuneration of 80,000 rupees for Level II and 105,000 rupees for Level II, plus a 10% annual increase, according to the notice.


Four More Associates


The regulator also recently sought applications from candidates for engagement as research associates for one year on a contract basis for four positions. The contracts can be further extended by one year.


The appointment will be under Level II and in the law discipline and offers a consolidated monthly remuneration of 80,000 rupees, plus a 10% annual increase.


The candidate must hold an LLB or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution, and qualified to be enrolled as an advocate in a bar council. The experience requirement is between three and five years in the relevant discipline.


The last date to submit application is 6 November, according to the notice.
