Castrol India Appoints Mrinalini Srinivasan As New CFO

Mrinalini Srinivasan, who most recently worked with Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care, will replace interim CFO Vishal Thakkar

(The Corner Office Journal) -- Castrol India Ltd. said its board appointed Mrinalini Srinivasan as chief financial officer and wholetime director of the company with effect from 28 July.


The appoint is for five years, subject to approval of the shareholders, the Indian lubricants manufacturer said in a stock exchange announcement.


The company said Srinivasan has over 17 years of experience at Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd. (P&G India), where she held a range of finance leadership roles across business units and geographies, including Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.


Most recently, she served as CFO for the hygiene and health business and was also the group controller at P&G India, it added.


Srinivasan holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Indore’s Shri G.S. Institute of Technology and Science, according to the statement.


Castrol India said consequent to the new CFO appointment, Vishal Thakkar will cease to be the interim CFO with effect from close of business hours on 27 July.
