Bajaj Finserv Appoints Ramandeep Singh Sahni As CFO; S Sreenivasan Gets New Role
Sreenivasan will continue with the company in a leadership and supervisory role as president of insurance and special projects
(The Corner Office Journal) -- Bajaj Finserv Ltd. said its board appointed Ramandeep Singh Sahni as chief financial officer, effective 1 February, succeeding S. Sreenivasan.
Sahni, a chartered accountant, has been with Bajaj Finserv Group for over 11 years, the Indian non-banking financial services company said in a stock exchange announcement.
Sahni joined the group in 2014 as CFO at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Ltd. and after spending over five years, he moved on to take over the role of CFO at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd., it added.
The company said before joining Bajaj Finserv Group, Sahni spent 12 years at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. playing various senior roles in internal audit and finance. He has a work experience of over 25 years spread across the insurance sector, a Big Four accounting firm and in an independently run business environment, it noted.
Sahni has completed Bachelor of Commerce and he ss also a Certified Information Systems Auditor, according to the statement.
Sreenivasan Gets New Role
Bajaj Finserv said Sreenivasan, who has been the CFO of Bajaj Finserv for over 10 years, will step down from his position with effect from close of business hours on 31 January.
As a part of the senior management team, he managed the group’s long-term strategy and yearly operational plans, capital management, investor relations, and corporate governance, it added.
Bajaj Finserv said Sreenivasan will continue with the company in a leadership and supervisory role as president of insurance and special projects, effective 1 February.
