Zee Media Terminates CEO Abhay Ojha

Zee Media Corporation Ltd. said Abhay Ojha ceased to be the chief executive officer of the company on account of termination of employment.

The company’s board today (6 May) approved and confirmed the cessation of employment of Ojha from the organization with effect from 4 May, Zee Media said in a stock exchange announcement.

Zee Media, one of India's largest news networks with 14 news channels in seven different languages, didn’t provide further details.

Ojha, who previously served as Zee Media’s chief business officer, was promoted to the position of CEO on 2 May 2023.

In April, Zee Media saw the exit of Piyush Choudhary, who served as chief manager - legal, to pursue his interests outside the organization.
