India's largest suitcase manufacture VIP Industries Ltd. said its Managing Director Anindya Dutta resigned on 14 August due to personal reasons.

The resignation of Dutta will be effective from the close of business hours on 13 November, VIP Industries said in a stock exchange announcement.

The company said its board appointed Chief Financial Officer Neetu Kashiramka as managing director-designate with effect from 15 August. She will take over as managing director and CFO with effect from 14 November for three years, subject to approval of shareholders.

Kashiramka, who joined the company on 7 April 2020, is a chartered accountant with over 26 years of experience, according to the statement.

Kashiramka started her career with Kewal Kiran & Company and thereafter moved to Jyothy Laboratories Ltd., where she had a long stint spanning over 17 years. She has more than two decades of experience in the corporate finance function across several organizations.
