RCom CFO Viswanath Devaraja Rao Resigns

Reliance Communications Ltd. (RCom) said its Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer Viswanath Devaraja Rao resigned, citing personal reasons.

Rao, who completed 23 years of service with the company, tendered his resignation via an email on 1 November, the bankrupt telecom operator said in a stock exchange announcement. The resignation will be placed before the company’s committee of creditors at its next meeting for consideration, it added.

In his resignation email, Rao requested the company to relieve him from his duties on or by 30 November 2023.

RCom is under corporate insolvency resolution process pursuant to the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016, according to the statement.
