PNB MetLife Appoints Nilesh Kothari As CFO

PNB MetLife India Insurance Company Ltd. appointed Nilesh Kothari as chief financial officer of the company.

Kothari is responsible for business planning, financial control, investment middle and back office, as well as vendor management, tax and investor relations, the Indian life insurance company said in a statement today.

The appointment of Kothari, a chartered accountant and finance professional with more than two decades’ experience in the life insurance industry, is effective from 3 August.

He has led various departments in his previous roles, including strategy & planning, financial planning and analysis, procurement, controllership, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and insurance accounting as well as investment operations and analytics.

Previously, Kothari has worked with Bharti AXA Life Insurance and SBI Life Insurance.

PNB MetLife shareholders include MetLife International Holdings LLC, Punjab National Bank Ltd., M. Pallonji and Company Private Ltd., Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd., and other private investors, according to the statement.
