Manali Petrochemicals Appoints R Chandrasekar As Managing Director

Manali Petrochemicals Ltd. appointed its Chief Financial Officer R. Chandrasekar as managing director of the company with effect from 13 May for three years.

The appointment of 59-year-old Chandrasekar, a chartered accountant and commerce graduate, will be subject to approval of shareholders, the Indian petrochemical company said in a stock exchange announcement.

Chandrasekar has about 37 years of experience in finance, accounts, audit, taxation, legal & secretarial functions in diverse segments such as engineering consultancy, EPC & construction, manufacturing and mining, according to the statement.

The company said He has held various senior level positions in finance as general manager and chief financial officer in major Indian corporates. Before joining Manali Petrochemicals on 3 November 2022 as whole-time director and CFO, Chandrasekar was a whole-time director of Sicagen India Ltd.

Manali Petrochemicals also said it appointed K. Lalitha, deputy general manager of finance, as CFO of the company with effect from 13 May.

Lalitha, a cost and management accountant, is with the company since October 2006, according to the statement.
