LTIMindtree CFO Vinit Teredesai Resigns; Vipul Chandra Named Successor

Indian IT services provider LTIMindtree Ltd. said its Chief Financial Officer Vinit Teredesai resigned and the company named Vipul Chandra as his successor.

Teredesai tendered his resignation today to explore professional opportunities outside the L&T Group and his last working day will be 24 April, LTIMindtree Ltd said in a stock exchange announcement.

Chandra, who is currently head of treasury the company’s parent Larsen & Toubro Ltd., will take the charge on 25 April.

LTIMindtree said Mumbai-based Chandra, 53, has over three decades of experience in the finance function. At L&T, he is responsible for various portfolios in the finance function, including managing the banking relationships and operations, financial risk management, managing investments, advising on strategic transactions and fund raising, it added.

Prior to joining L&T, he was associated with Citibank as managing director - head of corporate sales & structuring from 1995 to 2013.

Chandra is an engineer with specialization in electronics and communication from Delhi College of Engineering, according to the statement. He is also a Post-Graduate (Diploma in Management) from IIM Calcutta.
