Legal Consulting Firm Areness Signs Pact With Germany’s SOH

Indian legal consulting firm Areness signed a pact with German law firm Schmidt, von der Osten & Huber (SOH) for legal collaboration.

The partnership is aimed at enhancing ties between Indian and German legal firms, Areness and SOH said in a joint statement.

“With a focus on technology, Areness and SOH are dedicated to crafting legal frameworks that facilitate the exchange of technological expertise, safeguard intellectual property rights, and foster fair competition globally,” they added.

The agreement emphasizes cooperation, growth, and excellence in legal service provision across India and Germany.

“We look forward to seizing the myriad opportunities ahead and collaborating closely with the esteemed team at Areness,” SOH Managing Partner Jochen Lehmann said.

Areness, whose managing partner is Sagar Aggarwal, has over a decade of industry presence, with around 120 legal, compliance, and domain expertise professionals.

The Gurugram, Haryana-based firm specializes in comprehensive legal services in areas such as insolvency, banking, corporate matters, intellectual property, technology, dispute resolution, arbitration, and real estate.

SOH has been operating for 75 years in Essen, a city in western Germany, and caters to clients ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations, according to the statement.
