Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd. (Mahindra Finance) said its Chief Financial Officer Vivek Karve resigned to pursue other interests.

Karve has decided to pursue personal, social and professional interests beyond full-time employment, the Indian non-bank lender said in a stock exchange announcement.

Mahindra Finance said Karve has agreed to remain with the company beyond the stipulated notice period and until the declaration of financial results for the second quarter of FY25, i.e. up to 31 October, thereby ensuring a smooth transition.

The company is in the process of identifying a suitable candidate and will make necessary announcements in due course, it added.

Mahindra Finance, a part of Mahindra Group, is one of India’s leading non-banking finance companies, according to the statement. Focused on the rural and semi-urban sector, the company has over 10 million customers and assets under management of over $11 billion, it said.
